Who is Jesus?
Life: What’s it all about?
From time to time we’re all confronted with the big questions of life: Why am I here? What is my purpose in life? What happens when I die?
Jesus gives us answers to our heart’s deepest longings, hopes, doubts and fears. We would like to help you find out more about Jesus, who he is, and why his teaching, and his life, death and resurrection are so important for each of us.
We encourage you to come along to one of our gatherings at St Matthews, meet us and ask any questions you may have.
At St Matthews we offer an informal 7-week course called Christianity Explored. It’s for people who'd like to understand more about Jesus, and investigate the Christian faith.
The course focuses on Mark's gospel, and explores who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him. Christianity Explored gives you time and space to think about the big questions of life. You won’t be asked to pray or read the Bible aloud. You can even just come and listen if you like. The course is free, and can be run during the day or evening. We hope Christianity Explored will help you see more clearly who Jesus is, and why He has helped so many find answers, meaning and purpose in life.
