Kairos Prison Ministry Support18 May, 2018
Kairos Prison Ministry shows God’s love to the incarcerated in correctional institutions. As part of an ongoing program, each year teams of Christians go to the prisons to deliver a week long pastoral and educational program of love and hope.
The program includes teaching about choices, friendship with God and forgiveness, as well as creative activities, singing and opportunities to reflect.
Over the years God has changed the lives of many women and men through these programs.
I have been involved in Kairos at Emu Plains Women’s Correctional Centre for several years and will be on the Emu Plains Short Course team from May 15th -18th again this year.
If you would like to support this incredible ministry, you can:
· Join the prayer vigil, by nominating a half hour slot to commit to pray during the week. (Contact Meredith with your time preference or add your name to the prayer roster signup sheet in the foyer, or online - CLICK HERE)
· Write letters of encouragement to one or more (or each!) of the 18 women participating. Sample letters and instructions are available.
