Our Services

7:45am Sunday

If you are an early riser and enjoying a traditional Anglican service, then come and join our 7:45am gathering each Sunday morning. We follow the Sydney Anglican Common Prayer Book as we share in the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) each week, except the second Sunday of the month which is Morning Prayer. Well-known hymns are sung to the accompaniment of our pipe organ, the sermons are on the same subjects as our other church services and we spend time in prayer for personal, local and world needs. Relationships are important to us, so we encourage everyone to stay after the service and enjoy morning tea.

9:30am Sunday

Our 9:30am service includes and welcomes people across generations and ethnicities. We gather to worship Jesus, hear from his word and encourage each other in faith. Our children and youth begin in the service before attending their own tailor made programs where the teaching aligns with the rest of the congregation.

Community is important to us and you will find many people joining together after the service for morning tea and helpful conversations outside on our “St Matts Green” or inside in our church halls.

11:30am Sunday

6pm Sunday

At our 6pm service, we want to resist superficial and pursue depth together. The service seeks to help youth, young adults and anyone else who attends develop deep connection with Jesus, deep community with each other and deep concern for the world.

We pursue this depth through thoughtful Bible teaching with Q&A, prayers that are pre-written or spontaneous, contemporary songs that express truths about God, post-church supper or monthly post-church dinners.

10:30am Wednesday

Our Wednesday morning service is a traditional simplified Anglican service that shares the Lord’s Supper twice a month and Morning Prayer every other Wednesday. The singing of well-known hymns that have been enjoyed over many years is greatly enjoyed each week. We place an emphasis on hearing the Bible read and explained, and we spend time in prayer for issues and concerns, whether they are personal, local, or worldwide. We will assist with transport to church for those who no longer drive. Every second week during school term morning tea is provided at 9:45am before the service starts. We would be so pleased to have you join us.
